Deuteronomy 28:64-66

Amplified Bible

⁶⁴ And the Lord will scatter you among all the nations, from one end of the earth to the other; and there you will [be forced to] serve other gods, [lifeless gods of] wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known.^{(A) 65} Among those nations you will find no peace (rest), and there will be no resting place for the sole of your foot; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and a despairing soul. ⁶⁶ Your life will hang in doubt before you; night and day you will be filled with anxiety and have no assurance of living.
